During this particular 90-minute alignment-based asana flow, we’ll be working to create fluidity within structure and restoring the nervous system with plenty of twists and cross-referencing. You can expect a steady combination of stillness, balance, and movement.

Props will be encouraged for support and to help us land into the postures with greater care and alignment. Please feel free to bring your own if you do not feel comfortable using the ones available at the studio.

A prior asana (yoga) practice is highly recommended, all levels are welcome.

It’s grown harder over the years to label the style of yoga I teach as it’s become a complex blend of what I’ve studied over the years: hatha, vinyasa, katonah, yin, and restorative. I teach on alignment, energetics, the organs, the breath, and the nervous system while doing my best to use words to guide you in moving your body through space in a way the helps you to feel and land closer to you.

Sometimes I even weave in a Swedish word or two.
